BACKGROUND

The Air Secretary Branch is responsible for formulating and promulgating personnel management policies, plans and programmes for sustaining a highly motivated force.

Directorates under the Air Secretary Branch

• Directorate of Personnel Management

  The Directorate of Personnel Management (DPM) is the precedent directorate in the Air Secretary Branch. It is responsible for NAF manpower monitoring and management while assisting the Air Secretary in the articulation of policies on personnel management. The Directorate is also responsible for career management of all Personnel and Admin officers and men. It is headed by a Personnel/Admin officer with an established rank of Air Commodore (Air Cdre).

• Directorate of Recruitment Resettlement and Reserve

  The Directorate of Recruitment, Resettlement and Reserve (DRRR) is responsible for all issues relating to personnel intake into the Service and their post-Service resettlement. It is headed by a regular officer with an established rank of Air Commodore (Air Cdre).
