PHOTO NEWS: ACTIVITIES MARKING THE 2020 ARMED FORCES REMEMBRANCE DAY CELEBRATION

As part of activities marking the 2020 Armed Forces Remembrance Day Celebration in honour of our fallen heroes who paid the supreme price in service to our great Nation, Jumaat Prayers were held on Friday, 10 January, while an Inter-Denominational Church Service was held on Sunday, 12 January. The Celebration climaxed today, 15 January 2019, with the Remembrance Day Parade/Wreath Laying Ceremony presided over by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari, with the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, and other top government functionaries in attendance, including the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha; Honourable Minister of Defence, Major General Bashir Magashi (retired); Chief of Defence Staff, General Gabriel Olonishakin; Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, as well as other Service Chiefs and heads of paramilitary organizations and security agencies
