BACKGROUND

1. AVM Idi Sani was born on 2 Sep          69 at Ngadana. He hails from              Potiskum LGA of Yobe State. He        was enlisted into the NAF as a            member of NDA Regular Course          41 on 17 Sep 89 and was                      commissioned plt offr on 17 Sep        94. He was promoted to the rank        of AVM WEF 17 Sep 22. He holds        a Bachelor of Science degree in          Geography from NDA, Master in          International Affairs & Diplomacy        (MIAD) from ABU, Zaria and                Master of National Security                  Administration (MNSA) from the        National Defence College of the          Philippines. AVM I Sani holds both      military and civil licenses. His              awards and decorations include          DSS, psc, CMH, MNSA and MAID.
